2000 Porsche Boxster Headlight Bulbs & Lighting Guide

Best direct replacement

OSRAM Night Breaker 200

Low Beam H7

Estimated price$20-34

The Night Breaker 200 is the top standard-wattage reflector recommendation at the time of review. Anything scoring higher in the reflector chart uses much higher wattage, while the NB200 keeps the simple drop-in halogen format.

Best reflector LED upgrade

Morimoto 2Stroke 4.0

Low Beam H7

Estimated price$178

The glare-control recommendation for reflector housings, and also the easiest pick when your vehicle needs an LED that can properly dim for DRL use.

Best projector HID upgrade

Morimoto XB Elite 2.0

Low Beam H7

Estimated price$311

The Morimoto XB Elite remains the premium performance benchmark from the current HID recommendations. It tested as one of the strongest 35W projector-focused HID kits and is the better fit when you want a complete, higher-quality conversion kit instead of a generic marketplace option.

Factory Xenon replacement

OSRAM Night Breaker 220

Low Beam HID-D3S

Estimated price$150

The Night Breaker 220 is the premium pick when performance matters more than chasing the whitest possible color. It improves low and high beam output while keeping a warmer, weather-friendly stock-style tone.

Factory Xenon replacement

OSRAM Cool Blue Intense Next Gen

Low Beam HID-D3S

Estimated price$140

The CBI-NG is the styling-friendly premium choice. It still performs well, but the main reason to buy it is the cleaner 5300K tone that gives factory HID headlights a more modern white look.
